It appears that a cross may be put on the career of the legendary midfielder Paul Pogba.

The former French national team player has been banned for 4 years for doping. The request from the Italian Anti-Doping Prosecutor's Office has been fully satisfied.

In August of last year, after a match against Udinese, elevated testosterone was detected in Pogba's blood. Subsequent tests confirmed the use of a prohibited substance by the footballer.

The French midfielder appealed, but without success.

At the time the suspension ends, Pogba will already be 34 years old. Therefore, it is unlikely that we will ever see him again at the top level.

Throughout his career, Pogba played for two clubs: Manchester United and Juventus. In the summer of 2016, he moved to the English club from Juventus for €105 million, making him the most expensive player in history at that time.

In the summer of 2022, Pogba returned to Juventus but played only 12 matches last season.

In 2018, Pogba became a world champion with the French national team.
