Brazil legend Romário dating woman 30 years younger
Brazilian football icon Romário has reportedly entered a new relationship with 29-year-old student Alicya Gomes, according to The Sun.
The pair are said to have met last year during municipal elections in Brazil. They first appeared in public together in October 2024, attending Mariah Carey’s performance at Rock in Rio. Just two days later, Alicya was among the 800 guests at Romário’s birthday celebration.
This is not the first time the 59-year-old has been linked with significantly younger women. In March 2024, he was rumored to be dating 34-year-old model Maria Geusciane Santos, and before that, he was in a seven-month relationship with Marcelle Ceolin, who is 25 years his junior.
Romário has been married multiple times and has six children, including an illegitimate son.
A true legend of Brazilian football, Romário led Brazil to World Cup glory in 1994 and won La Liga with Barcelona the same year. He also played a key role in taking the Catalan club to the Champions League final in 1994.
