Braydon Manu has committed to a season-long loan from PEC Zwolle to VfL Osnabrück. The 27-year-old winger from Ghana wants to help his new team survive in the 3. Liga in Germany.

Manu, who has played in Germany's lower levels for Darmstadt and Hallescher FC, offers 130 games of experience. His pace and attacking ability could be crucial in Osnabrück’s fight to stay up.

Since joining PEC Zwolle last summer, Manu struggled with injuries and competition for places, making only a few appearances. Zwolle’s technical director Gerry Hamstra confirmed that the move was necessary for Manu to get more playing time.

Dr. Michael Welling, Osnabrück's sporting director, thinks Manu's background will be very beneficial: "Braydon has demonstrated his ability to attack in both the 2. Bundesliga and the 3. Liga. He expands our offensive possibilities and is well-versed in our system.”

Manu, who will don the shirt with the number 10, is excited to help, stating: "I've seen VfL's development and know them from previous games. To prevent relegation, I want to assist in accumulating as many points as I can.”

In an effort to strengthen its lineup for the final 16 games of the season, Osnabrück made Manu their sixth winter addition.

Manu will be watched closely to see if his presence can help Osnabrück in his fight to stay in Germany's third tier, where his life is in jeopardy.
