Bradley Carnell the new coach of the Philadelphia Union: A new era has begun! Bradley Carnell

Philadelphia Union announced on Thursday the name of its new coach, to be the big surprise about the appointment of Bradley Carnell, the former right-back of the Kaizer Chiefs and the Bafana Bafana.

The sporting director of the club, Ernst Tanner, expressed his great happiness to sign the veteran coach, explaining this by the wide experience that the coach has with his career and his distinctive experience with football as well.

“Bradley has the attributes we were looking for in a manager and the experience needed as we commit to getting back to our identity as a team, with knowledge of both MLS and international markets, he is tactically astute and aligned with our sporting strategy. His approach emphasizes a high-press style of play while organizing a structured defense. Additionally, he shares the club's vision for developing players. We are confident he will bring a clear sporting philosophy that elevates the team and delivers a competitive season” Ernst Tanner said.

It is natural to hope for all the best from the 47-year-old South African coach, with his distinguished experience with St. Louis City FC, but despite their good start in 2023 and winning the first five games of the season, things began to decline in the end.

At a rate of 1.31 points per game with St. Louis City FC, Bradley is expected to do well with his team
The new one offers convincing football too.
