Bournemouth makes a transfer that paves Kerkez's path to Liverpool

Following the sale of Dean Huijsen to Real, Bournemouth wasted no time reinvesting the proceeds into the squad, already preparing replacements for players who may soon depart.

Details: The Cherries have announced the signing of Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert. The 23-year-old Frenchman has penned a five-year deal with the Premier League side. While the transfer fee remains undisclosed, Transfermarkt estimates the deal at €13.5 million.

Truffert is seen as a direct replacement for Milos Kerkez, who has been heavily linked with Liverpool, fueling speculation that the Hungarian full-back could soon be on his way to Anfield.

Reminder: It was previously reported that another Bournemouth defender, Illia Zabarnyi, is close to a move to PSG.
