Bournemouth Make Move for Dele-Bashiru, Lazio Say No

Bournemouth have reportedly become the latest Premier League side to enquire about Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The 25-year-old, a Manchester City youth product, joined Lazio in summer 2024 after an impressive spell with Hatayspor in Turkiye. However, the Nigerian has struggled to secure a regular starting place under Marco Baroni last season or Maurizio Sarri this term.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Bournemouth offered a loan deal with an option to buy for €18 million, but Lazio quickly turned it down. The midfielder has also been linked with West Bromwich Albion and Nottingham Forest. Lazio want to keep him as other midfield departures could leave them short of options.
