Bournemouth close in on agreement for Andoni Iraola replacement
Spanish coach Andoni Iraola has decided to leave Bournemouth, and the English club have now moved to secure a new manager.
Details: As reported by Ben Jacobs, the Cherries are closing in on appointing German coach Marco Rose. If there are no late complications, an official announcement is expected in the near future.
Marco Rose has managed several German clubs during his career, winning both the German Cup and the German Super Cup. He also lifted the league title with Salzburg.
Andoni Iraola signed a two-year contract with Bournemouth on June 19, 2023, and on May 13, 2024, both parties agreed to extend the deal until 2026.
Reminder: Managerial changes are looming in the Premier League. Newcastle have already made direct contact in an attempt to approach Bournemouth’s current head coach Andoni Iraola.
