Borussia has the final say. Gittens agrees contract with Chelsea

As they gear up for a return to the Champions League, Chelsea are determined to bolster their squad. The Blues have set their sights on signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, a player long coveted at Stamford Bridge.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the club has already submitted an official offer to the German side—reportedly around €35 million. Additionally, the 20-year-old Englishman has agreed personal terms, with a seven-year contract lined up at Chelsea.
Interestingly, Gittens came through Chelsea's academy and has also spent time in the Reading and Manchester City systems. It's worth noting that the Citizens will receive 10% of the transfer fee thanks to the solidarity mechanism.
For the record, the Englishman played 48 matches for Borussia last season, notching 12 goals and 3 assists.
