Borussia Dortmund has officially announced the signing of its first professional contract with one of its brightest academy products – 17-year-old midfielder Mussa Kaba.

Details: The German youth international, who has Guinean roots, put pen to paper today on a long-term deal with the eight-time Bundesliga champions. The club is showing strategic faith in the young talent, who has been part of the Black and Yellows' system since 2018, progressing from the U11 squad through the youth ranks.

Dortmund sporting director Ole Buck praised the newcomer's potential, highlighting his impressive footballing skills and physical attributes. According to club management, Kaba is currently regarded as one of the biggest talents in German football.

This season, Mussa Kaba has already made his mark at senior level, making six appearances for Dortmund's reserve team in the Regionalliga West. Additionally, he played a key role in the club's recent triumph in the Premier League International Cup.
