Borussia Dortmund shows trust in Şahin despite poor results

This season has been rocky for Borussia Dortmund. Although the team won two out of three Champions League matches, Bundesliga performance has been lackluster, with only four wins in eight matches. Additionally, Dortmund exited the German Cup in the Round of 32. Yet, a coaching change is not on the horizon.

Details: Sporting director Sebastian Kehl has confirmed that, despite disappointing results, the club has no plans to dismiss head coach Nuri Şahin. Kehl emphasized that Dortmund has previously overcome similar challenges successfully.

Quote: "It’s clear that we’re not satisfied with our overall performance and results. But we need to stick together and work hard. We’re falling short of our goals, but we’ll get through this together. Dortmund has successfully navigated similar situations in the past," Kehl told the press.
