Borussia Dortmund have extended the contract of key defender Ryerson

On Tuesday, Borussia Dortmund demolished Celtic with a 7-1 victory, but today the club made headlines with another significant event.

Details: Borussia Dortmund officially announced the contract extension of their primary right-back, Julian Ryerson.

The Norwegian defender has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028, extending his previous contract which was set to expire in 2026.

Ryerson, known for his versatility, can play on both sides of the defense. So far this season, he has registered one assist in eight matches across all competitions.

Reminder: Before joining Borussia Dortmund, the 26-year-old Norwegian played for Union Berlin.
