Borussia Dortmund announces Jamie Gittens' transfer to Chelsea

It looks like Chelsea are set for another attacking boost in the upcoming season.
Details: On Borussia Dortmund's official X page, the club confidently announced that the transfer of 20-year-old winger Jamie Gittens to London-based Chelsea is all but complete.
It is reported that today, representatives from both sides met in Fort Lauderdale, USA, and managed to iron out all the details, reaching an agreement on Gittens' final move.
The first comments from Borussia's CEO have already surfaced:
“Jamie Gittens' career is a shining example of how top talents are developed at BVB. We spotted him early, signed him for almost nothing, nurtured him in our youth academy, and gave him playing time at the highest professional level. Jamie repaid this trust with commitment, performances, and goals. His transfer back to his home country would be very valuable for us. We wish Jamie all the best in his sporting future,” said Borussia Dortmund CEO Lars Ricken.
The club's sporting director also weighed in on the situation:
“Negotiations with Chelsea were tough, but in the end, we're happy that we can most likely meet our expectations and feel confident about our plans,” said the Black and Yellows' sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
Jamie Gittens joined Dortmund from Manchester City's youth academy and was later promoted to Borussia's first team.
Last season, the player featured in 49 matches, netting 12 goals and providing 5 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the 20-year-old winger is valued at €50 million, but the actual transfer fee has not been disclosed.
Reminder: Again? Bayern are targeting Borussia Dortmund's star once more
