Former Hoffenheim and Manchester United head coach Ralf Rangnick still attracts significant interest.

Details: According to Bild, German giants Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are vying for the Austrian national team manager, not to place him in the coaching seat (although such an idea was considered by the "Bumblebees" after Nuri Sahin's departure).

The plan is to invite him to executive roles. However, each club has its own perspective on this. Bayern wants to offer Rangnick a role similar to Jürgen Klopp's at Red Bull, while Borussia envisions him in a more conventional position as a sporting director.

Recent reports suggest that Rangnick's relationship with the Austrian federation has soured. Despite a strong Euro 2024 campaign, Austria failed to qualify for League A, losing in the playoffs to Serbia.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Bayern has no intention of offering a new contract to their legend Thomas Müller.
