Boom! PSG attempt to snatch another Barcelona star
Paris Saint-Germain are preparing another potential raid on Barcelona, with one of the Catalan club's most recognizable defenders emerging as a January transfer target.
Details: According to El Nacional, PSG are plotting a move to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde during the January transfer window. The French giants are monitoring the 22-year-old Spaniard's situation and could attempt to lure him away from Camp Nou.

Balde's future at Barcelona has recently become a subject of transfer speculation. Despite being one of the club's established defenders, the Spaniard has struggled to secure playing time under Hansi Flick at the beginning of the new campaign.
The German coach has publicly acknowledged that Balde is unhappy with his limited opportunities. Flick explained that Barcelona currently have five full-backs competing for playing time, making it difficult to manage the rotation. However, he also stressed that he has no problems with the Spanish defender and remains satisfied with his work.
PSG are not the only club to have been linked with Balde. Manchester United previously explored the possibility of signing the left-back, while Liverpool have also reportedly joined the race for his signature. The Spanish defender's lack of playing time could become an important factor in determining his future during the winter transfer window.
For now, PSG's reported interest remains at the planning stage, with no agreement between the clubs confirmed. It is worth noting that Balde is a graduate of Barcelona's La Masia academy and made his first-team debut in September 2021. According to the club's official records, the Spaniard made 42 competitive appearances during the 2025/26 season.
