Boom! Manchester United star closing in on Serie A move
Joshua Zirkzee could be heading back to Italy as Fiorentina step up their pursuit of the Manchester United forward.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina are in advanced talks to sign Joshua Zirkzee and have already submitted an official proposal to Manchester United.
The proposed deal would see Fiorentina take the Dutch striker on loan for a €5 million fee. The agreement would also include a clause allowing the Serie A club to buy the player permanently.
Negotiations are currently underway both with Manchester United and with Zirkzee's representatives. Romano reports that the move is very much on, although the parties still have details to settle before a final agreement can be reached.
A move to Florence would mark a return to Italian football for Zirkzee, who previously played in Serie A before joining Manchester United. For now, the 25-year-old remains part of the Red Devils' first-team squad and is listed by the club as their number 11.
It is worth noting that Transfermarkt currently values Joshua Zirkzee at €20 million. His contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2029.
