Bookmakers have begun accepting bets on the fate of Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
Analysts are offering odds of 2.7 for the coach to remain with the team through 2025. However, there is a stronger belief, reflected in the odds of 1.4, that Ten Hag will leave Manchester United by the end of the year.
Additionally, analysts have compiled a list of favorites for a potential replacement for the current head coach.
Thomas Tuchel is considered the frontrunner for the Manchester United managerial position, with odds of 3.25.
Other top contenders include Ruud van Nistelrooy (4.5), Gareth Southgate (6), Michael Carrick (8), and Kieran McKenna (10).
Earlier reports indicated that Ten Hag would be sacked if the team failed to secure wins against Porto and Aston Villa. Both matches ended in draws (3-3 and 0-0, respectively). Sky Sports expert Jamie Carragher expressed doubts that the Dutch manager would see out the remainder of the season.
