Madrid is once again calling for Enzo Fernandez.

Details: Atletico are considering signing Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez. According to Simon Phillips, the Argentine is determined to leave the London club and is ready to consider an offer from Diego Simeone’s side.

The main stumbling block for a potential deal remains Chelsea’s financial demands. The Blues are only willing to discuss selling one of their key players for a fee of around £120 million.

At this stage, Atletico are merely exploring the possibility of a transfer – there has been no official offer or direct negotiations between the clubs so far.

Fernandez himself has no objections to a move to Atletico and is interested in continuing his career in Spain. However, the Madrid club will either have to meet Chelsea's hefty price tag or try to negotiate a lower fee.

It’s worth noting that Chelsea’s new head coach Xabi Alonso recently stated publicly that he would like to keep the Argentine midfielder at the club.
