Bofo Saucedo Returns Stateside, Joins Birmingham Legion FC for 2025 Season

Birmingham Legion FC has added firepower to its attack with the signing of forward Sebastian “Bofo” Saucedo for the remainder of the 2025 season. The move, pending league and federation approval, marks Saucedo’s return to U.S. soccer after six years in Mexico’s Liga MX, where he most recently played for FC Juarez.
Club CEO Jay Heaps welcomed the addition, noting Saucedo’s experience and quality on and off the pitch. The 28-year-old originally broke through with Real Salt Lake, tallying six goals and twelve assists in 90 MLS appearances. He also featured in the USL Championship with Real Monarchs and earned youth national team caps with both the U.S. and Mexico.
Legion FC hosts Oakland Roots SC this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. CT at Protective Stadium. A free youth clinic will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for kids ages 5 to 17 with a valid match ticket.
