The new team will be tasked with strengthening the integrity of matches and training referees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA) has appointed Blaise Nabina Sebutu as chairman of its Referees’ Committee. The decision was adopted on Friday 16 October 2026 by the organisation’s Executive Committee, through a resolution concerning the appointment of the new members of this committee.

Blaise Nabina Sebutu will be supported by Joël Coco Umba, who has been appointed vice-chairman. The committee also includes Tangui Lopembe, Billy Cinji Badibake and Julie Kyabuta Kanyembo as members.

Through this reorganisation, FECOFA intends to rely on this committee to successfully achieve the objectives set for Congolese refereeing.
