Ghana's Black Queens wrapped up their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with a goalless draw against Tanzania in an international friendly played in Casablanca.

The match served as the final test for both teams before the start of the continental tournament, with each side producing a disciplined defensive performance and limiting clear-cut scoring opportunities.

The 2026 WAFCON will run from July 26 to August 16 in Morocco, with Ghana aiming to make a strong impression in Group C.

The Black Queens will open their campaign against Cape Verde on Wednesday, July 29, before taking on Cameroon on Sunday, August 2. They will conclude the group stage with a clash against Mali on Thursday, August 6, with all three matches set to be played at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca.
