The 2026 World Cup qualifying matches took place in Asia. On November 16, the matches of the 1st round of the group stage were played.

The first day of play produced many devastating results, but most of the goals were scored in Qatar. There the local team beat Afghanistan with a score of 8:1.

Yemen - Bahrain - 0:2.

Australia - Bangladesh - 7:0;

Lebanon - Palestine - 0:0.
