The Spurs could secure the experienced Al-Ahli striker as early as this winter.

Details: According to TeamTalk, England international and Al-Ahli forward Ivan Toney has agreed to a significant salary reduction in order to join Tottenham this winter.

The decision reportedly stems from Toney’s desire to make England’s World Cup squad—a challenge he would struggle to achieve while playing in the Saudi Pro League.

Tottenham are awaiting the opening of the transfer window and preparing for tough negotiations with the Saudi club, who are reluctant to let go of their star player.

According to a source at Al-Ahli, Ivan Toney currently earns £400,000 per week tax-free.

Toney joined Al-Ahli last summer from Brentford for €42 million. This season, he has played 15 matches for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 2 assists. His contract with Al-Ahli runs until 2028, and his market value is currently estimated at €25 million by Transfermarkt.
