"Big honor." Kane comments on Club World Cup draw results
Today, the draw for the 2025 Club World Cup took place in Miami. For the first time in history, the tournament will be held in a new format, with 32 teams from around the world divided into 8 groups of 4 teams.
Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane commented on the results of the draw for his team.
Quote: "It’s a huge honor for me to play with Bayern in the Club World Cup. I’m looking forward to this new tournament where we, as players, get the chance to compete with the best teams in the world at the club level. As a player, you always want to play at the highest level. I’m really excited about the matches and about who will be the first winner of this new format," Kane told Bayern & Germany.
Reminder: Bayern's group opponents will be Benfica, Boca Juniors, and Auckland City.
The 2025 Club World Cup will take place in 12 U.S. cities from June 15 to July 13. The tournament's opening match and final will be held in Miami.
