It looks like something very exciting is in store for us this year.
Details: According to The Sun, 39-year-old former two-time undisputed heavyweight world champion from Ukraine, Oleksandr Usyk, is negotiating a collaboration with UFC boss Dana White.
The main point is that White is launching Zuffa Boxing this year, an organization dedicated to hosting boxing matches. These ongoing negotiations between Usyk and White strongly hint at preparations for a potential bout between Usyk and Deontay Wilder.

Previously, Usyk openly challenged Wilder to a fight, and Wilder immediately accepted. Reports suggest that if Usyk and White reach a deal, the fight will take place in the United States.
Usyk's team member Serhiy Lapin confirmed that talks are indeed underway between their side and Dana White's company, but no final decisions have been made yet:
"Details are not being disclosed at this time. Let's say several options are open, and if the format, numbers, and timing align, the market could witness a move that no one expects."
Earlier, Usyk was forced to relinquish his WBO title due to a back injury and was unable to step into the ring against Fabio Wardley as required by the regulations.
