Inter have made an official offer to Atalanta for the transfer of Italian defender Marco Palestra.
Details: The Milan club has offered €45 million for the 21-year-old, plus an additional €5 million in bonuses.
According to media reports, both sides are set for another round of negotiations to finalize the deal.
Palestra himself is eager to join Inter and has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri.
It was previously reported that Chelsea were also interested in Marco, but at this stage, it is Inter who have made a concrete move for the transfer.
During the 2025/26 season, Palestra played for Cagliari on loan. The defender made 37 appearances, scored 1 goal, and provided 4 assists.
It’s also worth noting that last season Marco Palestra was named the best defender in Serie A, while Inter pulled off a golden double, winning both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.
