Big Blow for Super Eagles as Wilfred Ndidi to Miss AFCON 2025 Semi-Final Against Morocco

Nigeria’s AFCON 2025 campaign continues to gather momentum, but the Super Eagles have been dealt a major blow ahead of their semi-final clash with Morocco. Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will miss the crucial match after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament in Saturday’s 2–0 quarterfinal win over Algeria.

The booking, which came in the 68th minute while Nigeria held a comfortable lead, triggers an automatic one-match suspension under AFCON rules.
