The 2023/2024 Biathlon World Cup kicked off in Östersund, Sweden, with the single mixed relay event. The Swedish duo of the renowned Sebastian Samuelsson and Hanna Öberg claimed victory in the race. The Norwegian athletes Sturla Holm Laegreid and Juni Arnekleiv secured the second position, followed by the French representatives Fabien Claude and Julia Simon in third place.
