Betway Premiership Prepares for Action-Packed Weekend

From Friday 13 December to Sunday 15 December, the Betway Premiership is set to deliver an exciting weekend of high-profile fixtures and regional rivalries. Golden Arrows v Richards Bay and AmaZulu FC v Royal AM are among the two standout games in KwaZulu-Natal.

The weekend kicks off on Friday night with AmaZulu playing Royal AM at King Zwelithini Stadium. Both teams are looking to get back to winning ways. AmaZulu just missed out on a third straight win after losing 1-0 to TS Galaxy, while Royal AM showed great determination by coming from behind to draw 2-2 with Kaizer Chiefs in November. Ethan Brooks from AmaZulu highlighted the positive effect of co-coaches Arthur Zwane and Vusumuzi Vilakazi, noting how they boost the team's fighting spirit.

On Saturday, Golden Arrows welcome Richards Bay to Mpumalanga Stadium. Abafana Bes’thende are riding high after back-to-back thrilling 3-2 wins, while the Natal Rich Boyz are desperate to break a five-match losing streak that has them languishing at the bottom of the league table.

Other key matches include the first-ever game between SuperSport United and Magesi FC on Saturday night, along with Chippa United versus Cape Town City. Polokwane City will face the Marumo Gallants, who have won three out of their last four games, as the weekend wraps up.
