Beşiktaş Reject Ajax Approach for Super Eagles Captain Wilfred Ndidi
Turkish Super Lig heavyweights Beşiktaş have reportedly rejected an approach from Dutch champions Ajax for Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi.
According to renowned transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Ajax made an enquiry for the Super Eagles captain, but Beşiktaş were unwilling to sanction a move. The Istanbul club are said to have proposed a deal involving a €2 million loan fee with a €12 million option to buy for the 29-year-old midfielder, terms that ultimately did not progress into an agreement.
Ndidi only recently joined Beşiktaş and has already been entrusted with a leadership role, being named the club’s vice-captain just days after his arrival. The defensive midfielder is currently sidelined as he continues his recovery from an injury sustained during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
