Beşiktaş have confirmed that star midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will be sidelined following a hamstring injury sustained in Sunday’s fiercely contested Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe.
The 29-year-old was forced off in the 85th minute after pulling up while defending in the final moments of the match, leaving the Black Eagles to finish the game without one of their key players.
Club medical assessments confirmed a muscle tear, and Ndidi is now undergoing treatment under the supervision of Beşiktaş’s medical team.
