Bertrand Traore leaves Sunderland
His contract has not been extended
The English club announced the departure of the Burkina Faso international on Wednesday 10 June.
Bertrand Traoré will not be continuing his time at Sunderland. Having joined in September 2025, the Burkina Faso striker will have played just one season for the English club. The one-year extension option included in his contract has not been activated.
Consequently, Bertrand Traore will have to find a new challenge for the next stage of his career. Sunderland officially announced the Burkinabe player’s departure on Wednesday 10 June. The 30-year-old striker is now free to sign for the club of his choice.
