Benni McCarthy still believes in the chance to qualify for the World Cup!
South African coach Benni McCarthy has expressed his optimism about qualifying for the World Cup finals despite a poor qualifying campaign in March after he was newly appointed to lead the Harambee Stars to the finals of the tournament.
The Harambee Stars are currently sitting in fourth place in Group VI with six points, a group that is led by Côte d'Ivoire, with Gabon in second place with 15 points, and Burundi in third place with 10 points.
Kenya's national team, Harambee Stars, confront a monumental challenge in their quest for World Cup qualification, with just four crucial matches remaining in the current campaign.
Despite the daunting task, head coach McCarthy maintains unwavering belief in his squad's ability to stage a remarkable turnaround. Having already steered the team through two matches (against Gambia and Gabon), McCarthy expresses optimism about Harambee Stars' potential to deliver strong performances in their upcoming fixtures and reignite their World Cup dreams.
