The Benin national team will now face Liberia in the international friendly tournament in which it is set to participate in Morocco.

The Palestine and Benin national teams were due to face each other at the end of March as part of the FIFA international window. However, this friendly match will no longer take place. The match has been officially cancelled, according to the Beninese press. The reasons behind this decision have not been disclosed.

However, the Benin national team has already found a new opponent. It is Liberia, whom the Cheetahs will face on 27 March 2026 in Morocco. The second friendly match scheduled against Guinea is still set for 31 March.
