The Beninese delegation landed on Tuesday 1st September after three weeks of preparation in France.

Benin’s U-20 women’s national team is already on Polish soil to take part in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Benin’s U20 ‘Amazons’ have settled into their base camp in Katowice, in southern Poland, where Group A matches will be played.

It is at this base that Benin’s U20 women’s national team will make their final preparations ahead of their opening match on Saturday 5 September against Mexico. Making their debut appearance in the tournament, Benin have been drawn in Group A. The Benin U20 ‘Amazons’ are in the group alongside Mexico, Argentina and Poland.
