Under contract with Real Betis until 2027
On loan at Rayo Vallecano, the Senegalese defender is impressing with his performances.
Benfica has not given up on Nobel Mendy. The Portuguese club is reportedly still keeping an eye on the 21-year-old Senegalese player, who is on loan from Real Betis to Rayo Vallecano.
Having scored two goals in La Liga and put in solid defensive performances this season, Nobel Mendy remains on the Portuguese club’s radar, according to reports from Matteo Moretto. His loan spell at Rayo Vallecano ends this summer, but he is under contract with Betis until 2027.
However, Benfica are keen to secure Mendy’s services. For the time being, no formal approach has yet been made.
