Benfica has agreed a move for the Santos star

As per Fabrizio Romano, Santos forward Marcos Leonardo will soon become a player of Benfica. The insider added his legendary "Here we go!" to the news.

Benfica will pay 18 million euros plus bonuses for the 20-year-old Brazilian. The player will sign a 5-year contract.

Earlier, there were reports of interest in Marcos Leonardo from Arsenal, Manchester United, Roma, Newcastle, and even Real Madrid.

In the past season, Leonardo scored 13 goals and provided 2 assists in 31 matches in the Brazilian Serie A. He also played 7 matches for the Brazilian U-20 national team, scoring 7 goals.

It's worth noting that Santos was relegated from Serie A for the first time in its history at the end of the last season.
