Ben Aziz Zagre, a former Burkina Faso international, has died

He passed away at the age of 27.
Ben Aziz Zagré had not been playing for nearly a year. The defender had ended his career due to knee cancer. Since then, he had not been seen in public. But the sad news came on 8 June.
Zagré was unable to overcome the illness he was suffering from. He therefore passed away at the age of just 27. Before hanging up his boots, Ben Aziz Zagré represented Burkina Faso on the international stage. He also played for several clubs in Burkina Faso and abroad.
His death has plunged Burkinabe football into mourning
