"Bellissimo!" Scott McTominay enjoys fresh fruits and vegetables after moving to Italy

Napoli footballer Scott McTominay, who moved from England to Italy last summer, shared how much he enjoys the local cuisine. The Scottish player expressed his love for Italian dishes in an interview with The Athletic.
"Oh my goodness. The tomatoes. Bellissimo. I never ate them at home. They’re just red water. Here, they actually taste like tomatoes. Now I eat them as a snack. I eat all the vegetables, all of the fruits. It is all so fresh. It’s incredible," McTominay confessed.
Scott also mentioned that he and his compatriot Billy Gilmour have a personal chef, Mario, who buys fresh vegetables, fish, and other products at the market every morning.
It is worth noting that Napoli is performing very successfully in the Italian championship this season. Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, the team is in 2nd place in the standings, trailing Inter by just 3 points.
McTominay is one of the key players of the team, having played 31 matches in all competitions, scored 7 goals, and provided 4 assists.
Remember, the Scotsman moved to Napoli in August 2024 from Manchester United. The transfer fee was 30.5 million euros.
