Belammari wants to join Al Ahly, but sets a condition
The Egyptian club Al Ahly recently initiated contact with Moroccan international Youssef Belammari. The Raja Club Athletic left-back has reportedly given his agreement in principle to join Al Ahly, but has set conditions before accepting the offer.
In fact, the discussions held in recent weeks with the player and his agent aim to prepare for a possible arrival as early as the next winter transfer window. As a major condition, Belammari wants to join the Egyptian club during the summer transfer window, not this winter. The player justifies this decision by his desire to obtain a more substantial financial offer, comparable to those received from several clubs in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
According to media reports, the player wants to wait until the end of the season to finalize his departure, believing that this option would offer him better contractual terms. However, the player's agent insists on including a clause in the future contract allowing Belammari to leave immediately should a European offer come in during the next summer transfer window.
