Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior is unwinding in Brazil before joining up with the national team and heading into the Club World Cup. The forward treated his Instagram followers to a stunning snapshot from Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian posted a vibrant photo capturing a breathtaking cityscape, with the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue perched atop the distant mountain—the unmistakable symbol of Rio de Janeiro.

As a reminder, Vinicius was named in the squad by Brazil’s new head coach Carlo Ancelotti for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Seleção are set to face Ecuador and Paraguay, two key rivals in their quest for a ticket to the global showpiece.
Vinicius’s form in the current qualifying campaign has been somewhat underwhelming, with just three goal involvements so far.
Brazil currently sits fourth in the World Cup qualifying standings and has yet to secure a place in the finals. The only CONMEBOL team to have already booked a spot at the tournament is Argentina.
