Altay Bayindir's agent said that the player intends to stay at Manchester United and continue to fight for a place in the main squad, despite rumours of a possible departure.
Since his transfer from Turkey in the summer of 2023, the player has not received much playing time, playing only four matches and conceding eight goals. Despite this, Bayindir is not eager to leave Old Trafford and is ready to continue working with the new coach Ruben Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag as head coach.
The player's agent, Sefa Seyrek, confirmed that Bayindir received offers from several European clubs and Premier League teams in the summer:
"At the beginning of the season, Altay had many offers from European clubs and Premier League teams," SportsWitness reports him as saying.
The agent said that despite continued interest from clubs wanting to sign the Manchester United player, neither the player nor the club are interested in the transfer.
“Altay remains determined to continue his career at Manchester United, and the club, in turn, does not want to let him go,” Seyrek added.
The statement was an important moment in the context of growing tension and uncertainty in the squad, where talk of a number of players leaving, including goalkeeper Andre Onana, continues.
