Bayern will need to give a solid sum for the PSG midfielder

After a failed season, Bayern are set to have a strong transfer window but will need to commit a lot of money to do so.
One of the targets for Vincent Kompany is PSG midfielder Xavi Simons, but according to Bild, his transfer price is in the region of a hundred million euros. Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl is familiar with the player from his time at RB Leipzig, where he played on loan.
Eberl will now hope to resolve the tangle involving Simons' current club PSG, his former team PSV - who will be entitled to a share of the money earned from any transfer until 2025 - as well as RB Leipzig.
Simons has spoken of a "transfer trapeze" because of all the clubs involved, while Bayern believe it will be a real challenge to finalise a deal to acquire him.
