Bayern still want to keep Davies and extend the player's contract

According to BILD, the club's sporting director Christoph Freund held a meeting with Davies' agent Nick Huose on Tuesday. At the meeting, Munich offered the player an annual salary of €13-14 million without tax deductions if the player agrees to extend his contract until 2029.
No decision was made at the end of the meeting, because this financial offer of Bayern is slightly less than the demands of the player, who wants a salary of 20 million euros a year, which the "Recordmeister" is not ready to accept.
A point in the negotiations will be reached if the parties reach a consensus on the salary issue, which, as we understand, is not yet in place.
