Bayern sporting director comments on possible contract extension for Neuer
Manuel Neuer has become a true Bayern Munich legend, but it appears his story at the club is not over, with the management open to continuing the partnership.
Details: Speaking to tz, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said the club is willing to extend the goalkeeper’s contract. If Neuer is also willing, the extension could go ahead.
Quote: “I can imagine it. If Manu is ready for it, feels good, is prepared, and our expectations of each other align, I can absolutely imagine extending the contract,” Max Eberl stated.
On June 8, 2011, Bayern Munich signed the goalkeeper on a five-year deal worth €18 million plus €7 million in bonuses for strong performances at his new club.
Reminder: It has also been revealed whether Harry Kane will play against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
