Bayern Munich is on the hunt for a long-term replacement for the aging Manuel Neuer, who will turn 39 in March.
Details. According to Mirror Football, Bayern wants Brighton's goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen to become Neuer's long-term successor. However, Brighton is demanding no less than £50 million for the goalkeeper.
It remains unclear whether the Munich giants are willing to pay such a sum for the keeper.
The 22-year-old Dutch goalkeeper joined Brighton in July 2023. The "Seagulls" paid Anderlecht €20 million.
Reminder. It was previously reported that Bayern withdrew their offer to Joshua Kimmich for a contract extension. The parties failed to reach an agreement, and the Munich legend will leave the club.
