Bayern Munich is prepared to release their defender during this transfer window
The saga surrounding Bayern Munich’s left-back Alphonso Davies continues.
According to AS, the Munich club has realized that reaching an agreement on a new contract with the Canadian is unlikely, and the team is prepared to sell him this summer. Davies has refused to sign a new deal with a salary of €14 million per season, and his current contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Thus, Bayern Munich does not want to let the defender go for free next summer. The starting price for the player is €50 million. However, this development is not very positive for Real Madrid. The "Los Blancos" have already reached an agreement with the player on a contract, but now another club might emerge and intercept Davies.
Furthermore, we recently reported that Real Madrid might attempt to purchase Davies this summer. The current situation could only prompt the Madrid club’s management to take action.
