Bayern Munich is planning to initiate negotiations with Neuer and Müller regarding the extension of their contracts, as reported by journalist Georg Holzner.

Both players' contracts are set to expire in the summer of 2024. According to sources, likely in the early part of the year, Bayern's management will engage in dialogue with the players' representatives regarding contract extensions.

In June 2011, Neuer signed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich worth €18 million, with an additional €7 million in bonuses for his successful performances with the new club. The goalkeeper's transfer from Schalke to Bayern was initially met with disapproval from Munich's fans.

However, with the start of the Bundesliga season, Neuer justified the club's decision by delivering a series of games without conceding goals, surpassing the 1000-minute mark and immediately setting a new club record, previously held by Oliver Kahn.

Thomas Müller is a product of Bayern Munich's academy, where he has been involved since the age of 11. From 2007, he spent two seasons representing Bayern II in the Regionalliga. Müller made his debut for the first team in the Bundesliga on August 15, 2008, in a match against Hamburg, coming on as a substitute for Miroslav Klose in the 80th minute.
