Bayern Munich has officially extended the contracts of goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich.

Manuel Neuer highlighted that one of the main goals for the 2024/25 season is reaching the UEFA Champions League final, set to take place in Munich.

The 37-year-old Neuer joined Bayern in 2011 when the Munich side acquired him from Schalke for €30 million. Neuer has played 494 games for the German club and serves as the team's captain. He missed the period from December 2022 to October 2023 due to a leg fracture. In the current season, Manuel has participated in six matches, keeping a clean sheet in three of them.

Ulreich joined Bayern twice – first in 2015 from Stuttgart and again in 2021 after a one-year stint with Hamburg, where he went as a free agent. In total, Ulreich has played 98 matches for Bayern. In Neuer's absence, Ulreich played 20 matches, conceding 21 goals and keeping a clean sheet eight times.
