Bayern Munich has announced a record revenue for the 2022-23 season. The club revealed its financial report on the official website.

The Munich-based club has attained an unprecedented total revenue of €854.2 million. Pre-tax profit has tripled, surging from €17.1 million to €54.5 million. The club's net profit for the year has risen to €35.7 million, an increase of €23 million compared to the 2021/22 season.

Vice President of Bayern Munich, Michael Diederich, explained that the high transfer surplus also contributed to achieving the record turnover.

"Thanks to a balanced cost structure, we managed to keep the personnel expense ratio significantly below 50%. The good annual result will allow us to triple dividends from €0.10 to €0.30 per share this year," he said.

This marks the 31st consecutive season that Bayern Munich concludes with a profit, setting an absolute record in world football.

In the current season, Bayern Munich holds the second position in the Bundesliga. Thomas Tuchel's team has accumulated 29 points, securing nine victories and two draws in 11 matches. Additionally, Bayern Munich has secured a place in the Champions League playoffs, topping Group A with a perfect 12 points.
