According to Bild journalist Toby Altschaffl, midfielder Thomas Müller does not agree to a significant reduction in wages when extending his contract with Bayern, if such a thing happens at all.

At the same time, the source assured that Bayern intends to reconsider its strategy regarding older players, relying on rising star Jamal Musiala to replace Muller.

The German footballer himself recently announced that he intends to play until 2025, whether at Bayern or another club.

There was also information that Manchester United and their head coach Erik ten Hag are not against signing Muller. The English club monitors how negotiations between the football player and his club proceed.

34-year-old Müller is a Bayern product and has worked his way up from the academy to the main team. His agreement expires in the summer of 2024 and is worth €12 million.

In the Munich team, he played 680 matches in a Bayern shirt, scoring 237 goals and giving 261 assists.
